Identity Cloud Service / IDaaS
EBS Sync Agent
The EBS-IDCS bridge integrates your EBS User repository with Oracle Identity Cloud Service. Oracle Identity Cloud Service can reconcile with EBS so that any new, updated, or deleted user records are transferred into Oracle Identity Cloud Service. Because of this reconciliation, the state of each record is synchronized between EBS and Oracle Identity Cloud Service.
Easy to install and configure
EBS-IDCS Bridge setup is simple and wizard-driven. You can download the EBS-IDCS bridge and install it on any J2EE application server or on same Weblogic instance as Asserter / SSO Bridge. The bridge is a lightweight Java application that leverages OpenID Connect, OAuth to connect to IDCS.
A smart way to synchronize users
Once the application is installed, and the initial user import takes place, the bridge intelligently processes the results. Matching algorithms are applied to analyze the incoming EBS users and determine if they correspond to existing IDCS users. Future user imports can be scheduled or performed on demand.
High availability architecture
The Bridge supports multiple instances running in your environment to provide redundancy and thus greater availability. The minimal system requirements are:
• J2EE Application Server
• MySQL database to store logs
• Access to the public Internet for outbound connections of TCP port 443 (SSL)
Secure integration
Security is a key component of the Bridge utility. Communication between the bridge and the IDCS is protected with SSL encryption.
Reporting
The bridge utility provides activity report including the number of sync records and their status.
